Detailed Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival Mumbai

Arrive Mumbai by morning flight. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rooms foreseen from 1400 Hours on this day. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Mumbai which will start from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, previously known as the Victoria Terminus. This UNESCO world heritage site was named after Queen Victoria and is one of the most spectacular examples of Gothic architecture with interjections of Indian influence creating a unique collaboration of Eastern and Western creativity and design. Visit Crawford Market, the market was built in 1871 and is also known as Jyotiba Phule Market. It is a wholesale market that deals with food items. Continue visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalay, formerly known as the Prince Wales Museum (Closed on every Monday). Drive past Gateway of India.

Day 02

Mumbai to Udaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed for the visit of Elephanta caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing rock cut stone sculptures that show syncretism of Hindu and Buddhist ideas and iconography. These caves are hewn from solid basalt rock. (Elephanta caves remains closed on every Monday). Rooms foreseen till 12 Noon on this day. Later in time transfer to Mumbai airport to board flight to Udaipur. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 03

Udaipur Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed for the visit of Eklingji & Nagda Temples- 22 kms. north east of Udaipur is the village of Kailashpuri known for its 108 temples. Later city tour of Udaipur including City Palace, Sahelion-ki-bari (Garden of the Maids of Honour), Fateh Sagar Lake, and drive past Puppet Museum. Late afternoon boatride on Lake Pichola (Before sunset).

Day 04

Udaipur to Jaipur

Early breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed for Jaipur and on arrival check in at the hotel. Late afternoon/ evening visit of Birla Temple - Birla Temple, Jaipur At the foot of Moti Dungri fort is the Birla Temple. This temple forms one of the major attractions of Jaipur.

Day 05

Jaipur Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Amber Fort- just 7 miles north of Jaipur is Amber with its a honey-coloured fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar.

Day 06

Jaipur to Agra

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed for Agra en route visit of Fatehpur Sikri- 37 kms west of Agra lies the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. After visit proceed for Agra and on arrival check-in at the hotel.

Day 07

Agra Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday)- the greatest love story ever told. Afternoon visit of Agra Fort and other Mughal monuments.

Day 08

Agra to Varanasi

Breakfast at the hotel. In time transfer to the railway station to board the train for Varanasi (Vande Bharat). Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 09

Varanasi Sightseeing

Morning boat ride in the river Ganges-the western banks have a string of 84 Ghats. Visit Sarnath- 10 kms from Varanasi, where Buddha preached his first sermon. Later afternoon/ evening Tour on Ganges and witness the Aarti Ceremony.

Day 10

Varanasi to Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning in time transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour including Bahá'í House of Worship and Qutub Minar.

Day 11

Delhi Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning proceed for full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, India Gate, and Humayun's Tomb.

Departure

In time transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination. Flight check in starts three hours before the scheduled departure time.
