Nepal – officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is a mystical country nestled in the folds of the magnificent Himalaya mountain ranges. With an area of 147,181 square kilometres (56,827 square miles) and a population of approximately 30 million, Nepal is the world's 93rd largest country by land mass . Kathmandu is the nation's capital and the country's largest metropolitan city. The entire distance from east to west is about 800 km while from north to south is only 150 to 250 km. Nepal is a country of highly diverse and rich geography, culture and religions.

Visa & Documentation

  • VISA can be easily obtained either on arrival in Nepal (at the International airport or at the points of entries) or in advance from Nepalese Embassy or Consulate office abroad.
  • VISA FEE: 15 Days Multiple Entries - US$ 30.00 or Equivalent Convertible Currency
  • VISA FEE: 30 Days Multiple Entries - US$ 50.00 or Equivalent Convertible Currency
  • VISA FEE: 90 Days Multiple Entries - US$ 125.00 or Equivalent Convertible Currency
  • Tourists obtaining visa on arrival require to fill up Visa application form and Dis-embarkation card which are available on board or can be collected from Immigration hall on arrival.
  • One passport size photograph is required for the application form.
  • We recommend to get the Nepal Visa prior the arrival so that clients do not have to wait a long queue at the airport/entry points for the Visa.

SEASONS IN NEPAL

Spring (March ~ May)

Temperature: Average Temp 22℃ with slight rainfalls at night and clear skies in the morning.

You can enjoy adventure activities like Paragliding, Bungee, Rafting, Trekking in spring weather. Rhododendron blossoms with exuberant beauty in the high hill will leave you spellbound. It is one of the major tourist seasons in Nepal.

Summer (June ~ August)

Temperature: Average temperature is 30℃.

It is the time of monsoon rain in Nepal and a season of farming. You can enjoy paddy plantations during this time of the year. Spectacular views of lush and green hills washed by rainwater are soothing to look at. Also interested can do for summer trekking in the trans-Himalayan regions of Mustang & Manang.

Autumn (September ~ November)

Temperature: Temperatures ranges from 10℃ to 25℃.

It is the pleasantest time for celebrating biggest Hindu festival Dashain and Tihar. During this season of paddy harvest, nature ripen in yellow. It is the time after monsoon rain washes the whole surrounding. You can enjoy panoramic mountain views during this time. It is the popular trek season in Nepal where the sky is clear, blue and the weather clear.

Winter (December ~ February)

Temperature: Temperature falls down below 0℃.

It is the dry season with bare hills and mountains. Tour to the Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan is perfect due to favorable temperature. Or you can go on short trekking or hiking tours around Kathmandu, Annapurna region, to visit low level of Everest base camp.
