Day 01

Arrival Delhi by flight

Arrive Delhi by flight. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rooms foreseen from 1400 hrs. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

Delhi - Agra (220 km / 3-3.5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Old Delhi - the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648. Drive past the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Cycle rickshaw ride through Kinaree Bazaar and Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Later visit New Delhi designed by Sir Edward Lutyens - drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, the secretariat buildings and Rajpath to India Gate, the High Court and Old Fort. Visit Humayun's Tomb (built 1565 AD) and Qutub Minar (72 m high) with the ruins of Quwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the uncorroded 4th-century Iron Pillar. Later drive to Agra and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03

Agra - Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (236 km / 6-7 hrs)

Morning visit of the Taj Mahal at sunrise (closed on Friday) - among the wonders of the world, built by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife Mumtaz Mahal on the banks of the Yamuna; the monument took almost 22 years to complete in 1653. On return, breakfast at the hotel. Later visit Agra Fort - begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, with its Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Sheesh Mahal, Jahangiri Mahal and the Mussaman Burj where Shah Jahan was imprisoned. Then proceed to Fatehpur Sikri, the ghost city in red sandstone built by Akbar in 1569 and deserted 14 years later. Continue to Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04

In Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Amber Fort - the honey-coloured fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills, 'the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan', with its Chamber of Mirrors and Hall of Victory. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur: Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with its honeycomb screens and carved balconies, Jai Singh's Observatory built in the 17th century, and the City Palace - now a museum with fine Rajput and Mughal paintings, rare manuscripts and an armoury. Overnight at hotel.

Jaipur - Bangalore (Flight) - Anantapur (245 km / 4-4.5 hrs)

Early breakfast at the hotel. In time transfer to Jaipur airport to connect the flight to Bangalore. Meeting and assistance on arrival and directly proceed for Anantapur. Boarding and lodging on own arrangements.
